Our founder, Rosie, grew up learning this simple yet effective technique from her mother using natural ingredients that had been relied upon for generations. Long before beauty trends came and went, sugar waxing was already proving that effective hair removal didn't need harsh chemicals or complicated formulas.

When Rosie moved to Britain in 1987, she brought this family tradition with her.

For years, she shared her recipe with friends and family, carefully refining it while introducing more people to a natural alternative to shaving, salon waxing and chemical hair removal products.

Eventually, that tradition became Sugar Coated.
